About The Awards

The mission of the Israel Cancer Research Fund is to harness Israel's scientific talent to find a cure for cancer. It is one of the largest single sources of private funds for cancer research in Israel, with six chapters worldwide in Toronto, Montreal, New York, Chicago, Los Angeles and Israel and has invested in more than 1,600 research grants.

The Men of Distinction award will be given out annually to leaders from a variety of sectors whose contribution to humanitarian causes has been outstanding. The award will be presented by ICRF to those who show through their ongoing commitments that the wellbeing of community is greatly enhanced.

This year, the awards ceremony will be held at the Sheraton Centre on October 19th.
